Eva Dell Scott

Eva Dell Scott, 88, of Weatherford passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in a local care facility.  Eva was born June 20, 1921 in Campbell Texas to Luther and Mabel Mae Mitchell.

Mrs. Scott married James F. Scott June 4, 1939 and they raised three children together.  She served at her husbands side forty-four years in his ministry for the Church of Christ in the North Texas area.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband; James Scott, son; Gale Scott, five brothers,  her parents and one granddaughter.

Survivors include a daughter, Glenna Wooten and husband, Jim of Weatherford; son, Dale Scott and wife Jane of Graford; daughter-in-law, Betty Scott; brother, J.L. Mitchell of Amarillo; eleven grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at  2 PM Saturday at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Visitation is Saturday morning from 10 to 11:30 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in East Greenwood Cemetery.
