Evelyn Collins Montgomery

  Evelyn Collins Montgomery, 82, of Weatherford, died Saturday, August 15, 2009, at at local healthcare facility. She was born February 9, 1927, at home in Dennis, Texas, and was a resident of Parker County most of her life.
 
  She was a homemaker and worked many years for the E. B. Mott Company and Arthur Young Insurance Agency in Dallas before moving back to Weatherford to spend her retirement years.
 
  She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Everett Montgomery and two brothers, Tommy and Carl Collins.
 
  Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at Zion Hill Cemetery, with Chaplains Chuck Katlic and Penny Chandler officiating. Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
 
  Survivors include her daughter: Janice Hunsucker and husband, David of Weatherford; two sons, James Montgomery and Sherri Henson of Brock and John Alan “Jay” Montgomery of Weatherford; two sisters, Carmen Montgomery of Weatherford, and Linda Hale of Lake Palo Pinto; and a brother, Jake Cornelison of Weatherford. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
