Evelyn Pritchard Hobbs

January 19, 1923 — November 18, 2016

Evelyn Pritchard Hobbs went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 18, 2016. Evelyn was born in Peaster, on the farm, to Melvin and Cornelia Pritchard on January 19, 1923. In the 60’s Evelyn owned the Dairy Mart on South Main where the kids gathered on Friday and Saturday nights. Hamburgers were 4 for $1; people came from all around for her good burgers. She owned a small café in Ruidoso, New Mexico and The Woodson Inn in Woodson, TX. She was such a hard worker all her life whether at work or home. She was a very giving person. She was preceded in death by special grandson, William Timothy Stults; daughter, Jeanelle Jones; daughter-in-law, Delores Ann (Sissy) Stults; six brothers; four sisters; and all her in-laws.
Survivors include her son, Randy Stults of Mineral Wells; daughter, Susie Jones of Weatherford; granddaughter, Penny and Rick Stoops of Arizona; grandsons, Phillip Brian Stults and Christopher Lee Stults of Mineral Wells; special great-grandson, Ethan Trey Jones and seven other great-grandchildren; sister, Edna and Don Williams of Weatherford; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Kindred Hospice, Chaplain Rick Crick, Lindsey Winburn RN, Christine Casillas RN, Jennifer Tolin RN, and social worker, Kay Thornton.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 22 at Dilbeck Cemetery.
