Florine “FLO” Delores Jackson passed into the Lord’s hands at the age of 83. As Flo would say, she got “promoted.”
Flo was born in Morton, Texas, on June 27, 1941, to Noah and Vada Hale.
She grew up in Idalou and graduated from Idalou High School. She married and had two children and spent most of her life living in Lubbock. For the past 19 months, she has lived independently in Weatherford, Texas.
Earlier in life, Flo enjoyed cooking, sewing, and serving in her local church. She was a homemaker at times and also did well in retail sales.
For the past several years, she has enjoyed her dog, shopping, and crafting. She loved to gather and give Bibles away to churches and individuals.
Flo is survived by her daughters, Brenda Anderson and husband, Cary, and Cindy Black and husband, Darin. She has four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Flo also has an older brother, Harold Corder, and younger brother, Nolan Corder and his wife, Paula.
Flo was preceded in death by her parents, an older brother, an older sister, and a grandson.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the Buckner Cemetery, in Lipan, Texas.
