Fran Feuerhelm

  Mary Frances "Fran" Feuerhelm, age 89, peacefully departed from this life on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Born on March 12, 1935, in the small town of Sigourney, Iowa, Fran was the beloved daughter of Paul and Irma (Wagner) Miller. A spirited individual, she embraced her role as Drum Major during her high school years, showcasing her leadership and passion from a young age.

  After high school, Fran chose to dedicate herself to her family as a devoted homemaker. Her commitment to nurturing those around her extended beyond her own family; she also played a vital role in her community, volunteering as President of the Elk Run PTA, where she positively impacted the lives of many students and families.

  Later in life, Fran made her home in Texas, where she worked at Farrier Supply in Peaster, contributing her warmth and kindness to the workplace and the community.

  Fran’s legacy is one of love and resilience. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Berdell Feuerhelm, and her siblings, Homer, Helen, Dorothy, and Pauline.

  Fran is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vickie Stout and Michael of Peaster, Texas; her granddaughter, Helen Stout; and her loving nieces and nephews. Each of them carry forward the values and memories that Fran instilled in her family.

  A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at the Dilbeck Cemetery, in Peaster, Texas.
