Frank K Cooper, 92, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in a local nursing facility. He was born June 18, 1923 in Dimmitt, Texas to Benjamin Franklin and Kittie Cook Cooper. Frank was a pipeline inspector for Houston Contractors, traveling with the company to Iran, Africa and Argentina. He retired after 40 years of dedicated service. He was a Ship’s Service Man L Third Class, US Navy, serving in World War II.  Frank attended Chiropractic School for three years, was an accomplished jewelry maker and woodworker. He also won numerous awards at the state fair in ceramic and china painting. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Chloe Pettingill, brothers, Will S. (Bob), Hugh, Charlie and Ben. He is also preceded in death by his son, Dobie. Survivors: daughters, Rita Langeliers of Weatherford, Shawna Cooper of Fort Worth and Tracie Cunningham of Bedford; cousin and caretaker, Ila Mae Cooper of Weatherford; grandchildren, Chris Langeliers, Lora Wyllie, Steve Langeliers and Jake Nichols; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, including Wade Key.
