Franklin D. Montgomery

Franklin D. Montgomery, 75, of Weatherford went to be with our lord on Monday, September 8th, 2008 at Kindred Hospital in Fort Worth.  He was born March 20th, 1933 in Durant Oklahoma to Oscar and Ollie Montgomery.  A resident of Parker County for many years, Mr. Montgomery was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was a faithful member of Faith Family Fellowship Church. 

Mr. Montgomery is survived by his wife Lena Montgomery; sons, Ricky Montgomery of Weatherford, David Montgomery of Ft. Walton Beach Florida and Tracy Montgomery of Weatherford; Brother, Danny Montgomery of Fort Worth; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Galbreaith-Pickard Chapel with internment at the DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
