Fred Larkin Williams

  Fred Larkin Williams passed peacefully away July 26, 2012, at home. Fred was born August 22, 1937, in Weatherford, to Richard and Bonnie Williams.

  Fred grew up and worked in Weatherford most of his life joining the United States Navy when he was 17 years old. He worked as a mechanic until his retirement in 2005.

  Fred enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working in his garden, and staying connected with friends on his computer.

  Survivors include his daughters, Melanie Fox, of Weatherford, Romlayn and Troy Rodgers of Peaster, and Kendle and Melvin Frysinger of Hudson Oaks; sisters, Roberta Woodward of Fort Worth, and LeeAnn “Pansy” Schaupp of Woodlawn, California; brothers, Ronnie Williams of Fort Worth, and Jerry and Cynthia Williams of Benbrook; eight grandchildren, Brittney, Chelcie, Ethan, Chance, Shyawn, Colby, Caleb, and Jade; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Williams, July 29, 2003.

  Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend; we will forever miss your quick wit, endless stories around the table and valuable advice. You will live in our hearts forever.

  A funeral service will take place Monday, at 10:00 a.m., in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in East Greenwood Cemetery.
