Freddy Wayne Winstead

Freddy Wayne Winstead passed away November 18, 2013 in Weatherford. He was Born December 20, 1932 in Spring Creek Community to Clifton and Katye Lou Shaw Winstead. Fred was a graduate of Weatherford High School and North Texas State University. Fred worked for the Texas Highway Department and was an accomplished golfer, winning several tournaments throughout the state. Fred was preceded in death by wife Judy Rhoten Winstead and brother Clifton Shaw Winstead and parents. Survivors include daughter Dena Dawson, granddaughter Julia of Houston, sister Margie Crow, Euless, sister-in law Marjorie Winstead, Austin, and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

visitation will be held from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Saturday, November 23, at Galbreaith
Pickard Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Parker County
Senior Center for the Meals on Wheels program.
