Gabriele Sonia Holman

Gabriele Sonia Holman, 62, of Weatherford passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 in the Weatherford hospital. Born December 21, 1948 in Schweinfurt, Germany, Sonia was a long time resident of Parker County. She was a homemaker and a teacher at Ikard Elementary. Sonia loved working for the school and enjoyed teaching her students. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Anita Haas Nicholson. Sonia is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Tom, Sr.; daughters, Debra Free and husband Billy of Jasper Georgia and Kimberly Smith of Georgia; step daughters, Desarae Holman of Greensboro, NC and Star Elaine; son, Thomas Wayne Holman, Jr.; eight grandchildren, Doug, Christopher, Ryan, Emily, Travis, Brittny, Cheyenne and Dalton.

Funeral: 5:00 PM, Wednesday January 12, 2011 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Visitation: 6-8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
