Garry L. Stults, age 55, of Weatherford, passed away early Thursday morning, December 16, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 22, 1955 in Weatherford. Garry was a loving Daddy, “Pepaw”, Husband, Brother and Uncle. He was a Nuclear Electrical Engineer and he loved golf, woodworking and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Even in his last hours his concern was not for himself, but for his loved ones. He was known to his kids and grandkids as “superman” because he was he strongest man they knew. He will be missed dearly. Garry was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Stults, father, Bob Stults, brother, Stanley Stults, mother and father-in-law, Glenn and Betty Delay. His survivors include his daughters, Jill Ann Swanzy and husband, James of Keller and Brandi Halstead and husband, Lamont of Weatherford; sons, Andy Stults and wife Tammi of Brookeland and Richard Dooley and wife, Denise of Jasper; mother, Nathalia Stults of Weatherford; sisters, Jennittie Cook and husband, Benny of Weatherford and Rexine Ellis and husband, Jody of Weatherford; brothers, Milton Stults of Alabama and Allen Stults and wife, Kim of Houston; 11 grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Garrett, Zayne, Dustin, Katlynn, Ashley, Fisher, Lincoln; and an honorary grandson, Austin; sisters-in-law, Jackie Stults of Oklahoma, Sue Peccianti and Sandra Delay of California; numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 2 PM in the Bethel Baptist Church.
