  Gary Allen Chandler was born on October 14, 1948, to Ernest Doyle and Vera Lucille Chandler at Campbell Memorial Hospital in Weatherford, Texas. He was raised with love while attending Aledo Schools for all twelve years graduating in 1967. He attended Weatherford Junior College for three semesters before joining the United States Marine Corps, serving 10-1/2 months in Viet Nam and receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1971. Gary spent twenty-two years in the hardwood lumber business. Later in life, he enjoyed fifteen years as a mobile DJ and karaoke host.

  Gary is survived by two daughters, Angela Chandler (Buck) and Monica Chandler (B.J.); and grandchildren, Tyler and Elise Strother; and son, Chance Chandler.

  He is also survived by his life partner of twenty-seven years, Bonnie Stalkfleet, and children: Brian Macieko (Emily) and family, Justin, Emma, and Noah; Jennifer Shumate (Dennis) and daughter, Kylah; and Kevin Stalkfleet (Candace) and family, Caraline and Korbin. Gary is also survived by his beloved sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Pat Horton, and niece and nephew, Jina Hurst (Chris) and Jeff Horton; and numerous very special cousins and friends, as well.

  A brief graveside military funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2023, at Memory Gardens and Perpetual Care Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas.
