Gary Don Linville

Gary Don Linville, age 70, left this earth for his Heavenly Home on Thursday, September 2, 2021, in Weatherford, Texas. Gary was born on July 4, 1951, in Weatherford, Texas to Donald Marion Linville and LaVerne (Bedford) Linville. 

Gary was a member of First Baptist Church of Weatherford. He served in the Air Force and Army Reserves and was a member of the American Legion. Gary retired from Lockheed Martin in May 2016 after 38 years' employment as a procurement specialist. He was an avid golfer, tennis player, and fisherman. He was a football fan and for many years a season ticket holder of the Weatherford Kangaroos. Gary enjoyed going on trips and traveling. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and LaVerne Linville.

Left to cherish Gary's memory is his wife, Paula Linville of Weatherford, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Melanie (Wesley) Bushnell of Huntsville, Alabama; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon (Sybil) Linville of Fort Riley, Kansas; sister and brother-in-law, Trobie (Robert) Walls of Peaster, Texas; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Cora, Gabrielle, Lil Bill, Rowdy, Ralston, Harlow, and Lily; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086, with funeral services to be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 1:30 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Weatherford. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
