Gennyce Hubbard

Gennyce Hubbard, age 80, died on Monday May 8, 2017 in Weatherford, Texas. She was born in Lubbock, Texas to Charles and Virginia Taylor. She grew up in Dickens and attended University of North Texas where she met and married her husband of 55 years, George Hubbard, who preceded her in death. She spent her adult years in El Paso, Laredo, and 35 years in Stephenville where she is remembered as an owner of Stephenville Supply Company and an active member of the United Methodist Church. Friends and family have been fortunate to have been touched by her kindness and hospitality.
She is survived in death by her brothers: Charles Taylor and wife Cleone of Sonora, Texas; John Taylor and wife Jan of Proctor, Texas; her children: son Chuck Hubbard and wife Sally of San Antonio; daughter Gena Opella and husband Dwayne of Weatherford; daughter Paula Guerra and husband Carlos of Salt Lake City; grandchildren: Meagan, Taylor, Brian, Chris, Jessie, Lucia, John and Noelia.
A family graveside service will be held June 17th. Memorials can be made in Gennyce’s name to the First United Methodist Church of Stephenville.
