George Allison Mayfield, age 79, passed from this life, Thursday, August 11, 2022. George was born March 15, 1943, in Owensboro, KY to Silas Allison Mayfield and Rose Marie Wallace. He was a retired Electrical Engineer, owning his own company, Mayfield Engineering Inc. He was also a former Chief at the Willow Park Volunteer Fire Dept and a Private Pilot. George enjoyed flying model airplanes, drones, going water boating and off-roading.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Rose Mayfield.
George is survived by his wife, Wendy Mayfield of Willow Park; daughter, Abigail Mayfield of Austin; sons, David Mayfield of Weatherford, Texas and William Mayfield of Goddard, Kansas; grandchildren, Kayla Allen and Teagan Mayfield; and great-grandchildren, Leland and Isaiah.
A Private Service will be scheduled at a later date.
