Gerald “Jerry” Clayton Bourdon, age 77, left this earth for his Heavenly Home on Thursday, September 2, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on September 21, 1943, to Gerald “Judd” N. and Pauline E. (Dally) Bourdon in Des Moines, Iowa. Jerry served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired after a 40-year career in marketing, was a member of the VFW and American Legion, and of the Christian faith. Jerry was a musician/singer and loved teaching music to his children and grandchildren. He was also an avid fisherman and he and his wife enjoyed many years of competitive tournament fishing.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald N. and Pauline E. Bourdon.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Felecia Gail Bourdon of Springtown, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Danielle and Michael Johnson of Weatherford, Texas, and Stephanie and Bryan Prachyl of Poolville, Texas; two sons and one daughter-in-law, David and Susanna Bryant of Frisco, Texas, and John Ryan Bourdon of Azle, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Kay Stapleton of Granbury, Texas, and Judy and Glen Bird of Weatherford, Texas; as well as eight grandchildren: Mia, Ayden, Tristan, Connor, Klara, Lukas, Chloe, and Sadie and a host of other friends and extended family.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Central Cemetery, 4260 Old Agnes Road, Weatherford, Texas 76088.
