Gerald John Lewis, Jr.

Gerald J. Lewis, Jr., 52, of Weatherford, passed away March 1, 2018. He was born September 26, 1965, in Kirkwood, Missouri, to Gerald and Verna Crabtree Lewis. Gerry did things for the greater good of other people, whether that be in his family, volunteer hours and at work. He excelled at helping people get a long with others.

Gerry was Systems Engineer for the F-35 Program at Lockheed Martin. He was very proud of the F35 program and he admired the intellect of his colleagues and their commitment to the program. I will not be able to see this plane without a catch in my heart.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Lewis; children, Charlene Lewis, Melanie Lewis, Aidan Lewis and Eleanor Lewis; siblings, Frank Lewis, Vickie McBride and Bryan Lewis; numerous other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 4:30 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
