Geraldine Cotter

Geraldine Cotter, age 77 of Weatherford, died Friday afternoon, July 30, 2010 in a Fort Worth Hospital.  Born September 15, 1932 in Parker County, a resident of Austin before moving to Weatherford in 2004.  She was a homemaker, retired teacher and Cafeteria Manager for the Austin Independent School District for 20 years. She was a member of North Side Baptist Church and she loved sewing.  Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Tellola Stevens, son Clifford Mark Cotter and sister Ruth Mardell Stevens.  Survivors: Husband – Gene Cotter of Weatherford; Daughter – Dena McRoberts and husband, Shawn of Forney; Brother – Weldon Duane Stevens of Port Orchard, Washington; Two Grandchildren – Brittany Dawn McRoberts and Austin Cotter McRoberts.  Funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Monday, August 2, 2010 in the North Side Baptist Church with interment in Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be 5:30 to 7:30 PM on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the funeral home.
