Gladys Elizabeth Weems

Gladys Elizabeth Weems, 86, of Weatherford, died Saturday, May 1, 2010 in a Fort Worth Hospice Facility. Gladys was born August 21, 1923 in Schluter, Oklahoma to Jim and Tennie White. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, loved picking up pecans and loved to work with potted plants and hanging baskets.  Her brother, Kenneth James White and sister, Geneva White precede her in death.

Survivors; Sons, Jonathan Weems of Weatherford, Thomas “Barney” Weems and wife Kathy of Euless, grandchildren, Tyler Weems, Fletcher Weems, Matthew Weems and Ashley Jackson. Eight great grandchildren, five sisters, Oletta Burnett of Early, Ethel Mullenex of Azle, Margie Blount of Rowlett, Clovis Williamson of Scottsdale, Arizona and Wilma McCoy of Oklahoma City Oklahoma.

Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2010 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
