Glenda Jane Barnett

Glenda Jane Sullivan Barnett, age 83, of Weatherford, Texas. Passed on March 15th, 2021, after a long illness. She was born on June 25th, 1937, in Fort Worth, Texas. The daughter of William and Velma Sullivan.

Glenda married Glenn Barnett on August 31, 1956. They began their life together and celebrated 51 years of marriage before Glenn passed away in 2008. Glenn and her had three children, 13 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She loved and adored her family and they loved her. She enjoyed every moment of her family’s life, from attending ballgames to stock shows, and everything in between. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sisters, Fleeta and Juanice.

Survivors include son, Ken Barnett and wife, Theresa of Copperas Cove; daughters, Myrna Binion and husband, Mark of Weatherford, and Kris Ballard and husband, Robbie of Peaster; grandchildren, Keely and Brent Gilbert of Peaster, Lenton and Shay Barnett of Hondo, Bailey and Colton Wyatt of Weatherford, Lucas and Krysanne Barnett of Boise, Idaho, Tyler Ballard and Makenzie Noland of Weatherford, McKenna Ballard and Draven Tell of Weatherford, and Sadie Ballard of Peaster; great grandchildren, Brenley and Keegan Gilbert, Koen and Ledger Barnett, Laiken Barnett, Layne Wyatt, and Wyatt Ballard.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 19th, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and funeral services on Saturday, March 20th, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home, 913 N. Elm St. Weatherford, Texas 76086.
