Glenda Mae Edwards

Glenda Mae Edwards, age 52, went to Glory from her home in Poolville, TX after a heroic battle with brain cancer on July 1, 2009.   Born June 23, 1957 in Ranger, TX, she made her home in Weatherford. She was also a member of North Main Church of God. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.   Preceding her in death are her parents, Robert C. and Minnie B. Hoffman and brother, Richard Hoffman.   Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Larry R. Edwards; sons, Kevin S. and wife Christy Edwards, Carl D. and wife Tabitha Edwards, and Wesley G. Edwards; daughter, Jennifer M. and husband Mike Stinson Jr.; brothers, Robert and wife Harriet Hoffman, Michael and wife Judy Hoffman, Charles and wife Kay Hoffman, and Jackie Hoffman; sisters, Darlene and husband Eddie Gilland, Marie and husband Richard Conrad; grandchildren, Sydney and Hudson Edwards, Shyanne and Shaylee Stinson, Destiney, Haley and Chevy Edwards; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.   In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Community Hospice of Texas 6100 Western Place Ste 500 Fort Worth, TX 76107  
Funeral Service will be Friday July 3, 2009 at 10:00 AM in North Main Church of God with Bros. Charles Prince and Forest Bass officiating. Interment will follow in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
