Glenda Rose Brow

Glenda Rose Brow, Age 90, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2019. Glenda was born in Richland Springs, Texas to Walter Joshua and Myrtle Ellen Bodine on July 3, 1928. She graduated from Brownwood High School in 1945 and worked until the age of 74 at Williamson-Dickies Clothing company for 48 years until she retired as an Executive Assistant. She loved volunteering, square dancing, floral arranging, gardening and singing in the choir, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Glenda was a very active member of the Lakeshore Baptist Church in Hudson Oaks. Glenda is survived by her 2 sons, Tony Moore and wife Mary Dee of De Leon; Bernie Moore and wife Julie of Hudson Oaks, 2 sisters, Betty Allen of Bangs and Nelda Low of Brownwood, and 2 brothers, Adrian Bodine of Brownwood and Gayle Bodine of Perrin, 5 grandchildren, Troy Moore, Jeremy Endicott, Lindsay Kirkwood, Bailey Clack, and Tanner Dixon, and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband Lonnie Moore and her second husband Jack Brow, daughter, Judy Dixon, and brother, Ray Bodine. Visitation: 10am, Friday, March 15, 2019 at Lakeshore Baptist Church in Hudson Oaks, 200 S Lakeshore Drive, Hudson Oaks, TX 76087 with the funeral service at 11am, followed by a short graveside service at Ash Creek Cemetery, S Stewart Street, in Azle. Afterwards a luncheon reception will be Lakeshore Baptist Church in Hudson Oaks at 1:30 pm. Flowers can be sent to the church or a cash donation can be sent to the Center of Hope Group at Lakeshore Baptist Church.
