Gloria Aline Childs

Gloria Aline Childs, age 83, of Weatherford, died on Monday, October 20, 2008 at her residence.  Born November 18, 1924 in Houston, Texas, a resident of Weatherford for several years. She was a retired retail sales clerk, homemaker a Baptist and she loved crochet and was a movie buff.  Gloria was preceded in death by two sons, Curtis Williams and Leighton Dennis.   She is survived by her daughter, Leville “Jeanne” Chamberlain of Weatherford, sons, Ruche “Skip” Dennis of Weatherford, Darryl Dennis and Beth of White Settlement and James Dennis and Nelda Bell of Weatherford; sister, Avis and Darrell Landmesser of Troy, Michigan; 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. 

Memorial Service: 4 PM, Friday, October 24, 2008 in the Zion Hill Community Center.
