Gloria Short

Gloria Short, passed away peacefully at age 77, Friday, June 3, 2022. Gloria was born August 15, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas, to Francisco Gonzales and Maria DeJesus Reyes.

Gloria worked as a line worker for Miller Brewery for many years before she decided to retire. She adored her family and always enjoyed their quality time together. She was a fabulous cook; chicken tacos were her specialty. During her spare time Gloria enjoyed crocheting and being outdoors in her flower garden. She was a member of First Baptist Church Lakeside.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents.

Gloria is survived by her daughters, Carla Redding of Fort Worth, Texas, Patricia Short of Fort Worth, Texas, and Tammy Moss of Fort Worth, Texas; son, Kenney Short of Azle, Texas; sisters, Virginia Gill of Krum, Texas, Suzy Cavousa of San Antonio, Texas, Marcy Garcia of San Antonio, Texas, and Tencha Gill of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Ignacio Gill of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday June 7, 2022, at Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, 4941 I-20 Frontage Rd., Willow Park, Texas 76087.

Graveside Service 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Annetta Cemetery 2667 W Farm to Market 5, Annetta, Texas 76008.
