Gordon Ray Farmer, 75, of Weatherford passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019. Graveside service:1pm, Monday May 13, 2019 at Zion Hill Cemetery. Gordon was born December 11, 1943 in Fort Worth, Texas to James Calvin and Marie Dunavan Farmer. Gordon was an Army Veteran, former Post Commander of the VFW where he founded the Annual Chili Cook O ff. Gordon was an outgoing and friendly man that enjoyed volunteering at The Center of Hope. He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters. He is survived by one sister; Bobbie Sue Keel and husband Arnold, his ex-wife and mother of his children Lynda; daughter Holly; son Cody; grandkids, Darenjer and Tatum and numerous family and friends.
