Gracie Gertrude Carter, 91, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 in a local nursing center. Born July 13, 1914 in Madisonville, Texas a resident of Parker County for many years. She was a homemaker and a Methodist She is survived by: Daughters, Gracie Pruitt of Keller, Wynell Shipley and husband Leon of Fort Worth, Sons, Ray Carter and wife Judy of Weatherford, Charles Carter of Houston, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren Visitation 2-4 PM Sunday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral ChapelGraveside service 11:00 AM Monday, July 10, 2006 in the East Greenwood Cemetery.
