Grady Arthur Cunningham, Jr., of Port Aransas, Texas, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday, February 28, 2021, of a heart attack at the age of 58. Grady was born December 19, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1980 and joined the Air Force. Grady found and married the love of his life, Frankie, and eventually retired from the FAA in 2019. He and Frankie enjoyed traveling across the U.S., and along the way he discovered an abounding love for the beach lifestyle in Port Aransas. Grady was happiest living his life with his toes in the water and a drink in his hand.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady A. Cunningham and Phyllis S. Kmetyk Cunningham.
He is survived by his wife, Frankie L. Cunningham; son, Bradley J. Cunningham and his wife, Shannon and her son, Kyler Bullard; son, Zachary A. Cunningham; sister, Cindy and husband, Robert F. Watson; nephews, Derek and Cory Watson; niece, Courtney Wille and her sons, Christopher and Kyle Wille; stepdaughter, Catie and husband, Jonathan Waldman; stepson, Tyler Massey; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and the list goes on. Grady lit up a room whenever he entered, and his shenanigans were legendary. He loved big, lived bigger, and loved everyone in true Grady style.
