Gregory Paul Cox

Gregory Paul Cox, age 55, of Weatherford, died Friday afternoon, April 13, 2012 in a Fort Worth Hospital.  Born June 2, 1956 in Weatherford, where he had lived all his life.  He was a computer tech for the Water Department for the City of Arlington, member of St. Stephens Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Dallas IFGS for nineteen years and was listed in Who’s Who of Americas Poets. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Caithan Cox in 1993. Greg is survived by  survivors by his wife of 30 years, Tina Cox of Weatherford; children, Stefean Cox and wife, Sara of Fort Worth, Greyson Cox of Weatherford and Taryn Cox of Weatherford; long time friend, David Spence of Weatherford and David’s children, that Greg also raised, Travis Spence and Erin Spence; parents – Paul and B. J. Cox of Weatherford; brothers, Mirick Cox and wife, Debbie and Alex Cox and wife, Ginger and his grand dog,  Choco
 

Funeral service: 10 AM, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment: Memory Gardens. 
Visitation: 6-8 PM on Monday, April 16, 2012 at the funeral home.
Memorials: World Wildlife Fund or your local Animal Shelter.
