Guadalupe Lopez Treviño, 80, gained his angel wings Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Guadalupe was born June 3, 1942, in Alice, Texas, to Jesus Treviño and Ramona (Lopez) Treviño. He married the love of his life, Martha Martinez, in 1965, and they were blessed with three children. Following his proud service in the United States National Guard, he supported his family in the roofing industry and as the owner of Treviño Janitorial Services. After his retirement, Guadalupe enjoyed watching the local news, weather, and sports. He was known around town for riding his electric bike and never meeting a stranger. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Guadalupe loved his family and his greatest pride were his grandchildren and their families.
Guadalupe is survived by his beloved wife, Martha Treviño of Weatherford, Texas; children, Michael Treviño, Marcus Treviño, and Michele Carew; seven grandchildren, Kathryn Cagle, Francisco San Miguel, Jr., Amanda Evans, Alicia Treviño, Michael Treviño, Jr., Jaime Treviño, and Martha Treviño; fourteen great grandchildren; sisters, Maria Marquez and Brunilda Treviño; brother, Rey Treviño; and numerous loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; four brother-in-laws; two great grandchildren; and his beloved poodle, Lucy.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to Kathryn, Junior, Amanda and Alicia for always being there for your Pawpaw, and to Mandy Story and Nathalie at Medical City, Kimberly with Kindred Home Care, and Dei Estes for the love and compassion you all showed him in the final days of his life.
