Gwendolyn Gladys McMahan

Gwendolyn Gladys Hoover McMahan, 99, passed away Sunday evening, August 19, at her home.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Funeral services celebrating her life will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford.
Gwendolyn was born and raised in South Carolina to Gladys Gwendolyn and Rufus Edward Hoover. Gwendolyn married Clifford B. Mc Mahan in New Mexico in 1952 and together they had four children. She was an Elementary School Music Teacher for 35 years before her retirement in 1981. She lived the remainder of her life in both Oklahoma and Texas.
Survivors include her children, Frank and Josie Mc Mahan, Dawn and husband Gene Crnkovic, and Sandy and husband Mike Taliaferro; 9 grandchildren, James, Steven, Leslie, Brandon, Lindsey, Randy, Sam, Danny, and Alex; 15 great-grandchildren; by her brother, Ed Hoover; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford B. McMahan in 1994; her son, Randy McMahan; and by her siblings, Faith, Adeline, Flo, Mary Jo, Vincent, Bobs, and Rufus.
