Hailey Elizabeth Bright

  Hailey Elizabeth Bright, passed away unexpectedly at only 18 years old on Monday, March 25, 2024. She was born September 4, 2005, in Palm Springs, California. Hailey brought joy and love to all who knew her. She was the beloved daughter of Elizabeth Verlengia Berg.

  Hailey recently graduated High School in Weatherford and attended Dallas Baptist University and Weatherford College and found solace and community at Neon Life Church.

  Hailey has a servant’s heart. She was always putting the needs of others before her own and helping friends and family. She had a compassionate nature embodying kindness and loved caring for and playing with children. She babysat several children and used these connections to build strong relationships turning friendships into family. She was always willing to lend a helping hand.

  Hailey was very creative and embraced art. You could find her gifting people with tie-dye shirts and scrunchies, bracelets, painted birthday boxes, and other miscellaneous artsy products. She enjoyed loving people by doing their hair and makeup.

  Hailey was that outgoing friend who everyone found endearing. She was always making funny faces or doing random things like cartwheels, splits, dance moves, and hand signs. Hailey would always greet you with a bear hug. You could always count on Hailey to make you laugh and feel loved. Hailey always enjoyed traveling and new adventures.

  Hailey was involved in the medical training program offered in Weatherford High School and the PALM program at Palm Springs High School. She had earned her Patient Care License along with others. Hailey wanted to become a Psychologist. She also enjoyed water polo, swim, and dance.

  Hailey leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted and loving mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Matthew Berg; her father, Weston Jay Bright; brothers, Alexander and Jameson Berg; grandparents, Romano and Lucy Verlengia, Charles and Denise McDonald, and Pamela Berg; as well as many aunts and uncles, Paul, Michael, Sarah, Katie, Adam, Aaron, Tina, Tammy, Jimmy and Carissa.
 
  A memorial service to honor Hailey's life will take place at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the New River Fellowship in Hudson Oaks, Texas. 
 
  May this gathering be a celebration of Hailey's spirit and the impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched with her life.
