  Hall Ernest Johnson, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Hall was born January 9, 1947, in Weatherford, Texas, to Ernest and Clemetine Johnson. Hall Johnson served in the United States Army and National Guard for several years. Hall was a very determined and knowledgeable man who would accomplish anything he set out to do. Hall became a supervisor for the City of Fort Worth Water Department remained employed till he retired. Hall was the type of person to always bring laughter wherever he went. His smile, high siding at family get-togethers, and humor will always be remembered by everyone who was blessed to know him. Hall will definitely be missed.

 

  Hall was very charming and touched the hearts of many people who he came into contact with. Hall had a passion for people, relationships, racing, building race cars, music, craftmanship, and food. Hall took his appearance very seriously. From head to toe with matching suits, hats, socks, and sunglasses. God blessed Hall with a gift of working with his hands building and remodeling. He also loved guns and believed in protecting friends and family members. The Dallas Cowboys was his favorite football team no matter what. Hall was definitely "The Dallas Cowboys" number one fan. Hall was a man of many interests and hobbies, but you could say that family was his biggest one. He was big on family and each and every person from his children, grandchildren, sisters, nieces, and nephews were very special to him and he made sure that each one knew it. 

 

  Hall leaves many loved ones to cherish his memory: sons, Reginald H. (Julie) Johnson, Derrick D. (Ella) Johnson; daughter, LaTamara Taylor; three sisters, Vivian (James) Williams, Madeline (Willie) Brown, and Letha (Michquel) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Derrick Johnson, Daisha Johnson, Antonio Johnson, Nino Johnson, Marcellus Johnson, Mia Johnson, Rachelle Brinkley, Marlyn Daniels, Robert Taylor, and Willie Daniels; great-granddaughter, Dior Nicole Johnson; nephews, Damon (Leah) Johnson, Brandon (Ashley) Brown; nieces, Deanna (Colby) Grant, Sherri Davis, Margaux (David) Cauthen, and Kenita (Bobby) Chandler; and Best Buddies (Brother) Greg Powell. Preceding him in death are his parents, Ernest and Clemetine Johnson; and his sister, Mary Ruth Perry. 

 

  A funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford, Texas.  Following the services will be a burial at Hill Crest Cemetery.
