Hazel Fox Reese

Hazel Fox Reese, 96, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Glen Rose. Hazel was born March 21, 1918 in Eastland County to J.L. Fox and Roxie Ann Gullet Fox. She was married to Clarence Reese in 1940. They were married 54 years until his death in 1994. A multi-talented person, she painted, sewed and loved cooking family dinners. She helped raise four generations including three children, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She attended Rock of Helps Church, pastored by Brother Sonny Buckingham. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence a son, David Leon Reese, daughter, Kathy Hardwick and a granddaughter Laura Stevens. She is survived by daughter, Roxy Harrison; grandchildren, Jennifer Firmin, Chip and Les Harrison and several great and great great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Cherokee Rose Manor for the extensive care Hazel received.

Graveside: 1 p.m, Saturday, January 24, 2015 in Carbon Murray Cemetery in Carbon, Texas.
