Hazel Marie Frost

Hazel Marie Smethers Frost,75, lifetime resident of Weatherford, went to be with her husband of 48 years in the house of the Lord on Saturday afternoon, July 20, in Weatherford.
Memorial services celebrating her life will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, July 28, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Visitation will be held from 2 P.M. until the time of the service, Sunday, at the funeral home.
Hazel was born on September 25, 1943, in Weatherford to Barney Estes and Sarah Lois Smethers. Hazel married Lloyd Frost on February 29, 1968 and together had two daughters. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crafting and playing BINGO. Most of all, Hazel will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family.
Hazel is survived by her daughters, Barbara and Sarah Frost both of Weatherford; grandchildren, Dara Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Matthew Thomas; great-grandson, Cash Coplin; and by her brother Cleve Smethers and wife Connie; and by her sister, Barbara Rigsbay; and by several nieces nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lloyd on November 7, 2017; and by her brother, Bobby Smethers.
