Hazel Lucille McDonald

Hazel Lucille McDonald, 89, of Garner passed away Sunday December 23, 2007 at Veranda Place in Weatherford. She was born August 31, 1918 in Garner, where she was a lifelong resident. She attended Garner schools. She married Albert McDonald on August 29, 1936 in Parker County.  Hazel was a member of First Baptist Church of Garner, loved to sew, quilt and embroidery. She was a dedicated homemaker, loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband on July 21, 1976, her parents and two brothers. Hazel is survived by her sons, James McDonald and wife Donna of Ranger and Bill McDonald and wife Nancy of Amarillo; daughter, Kathy Leatherman and husband Royce of Garner; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  Graveside service for Hazel will be 2:00 PM, Thursday December 27, 2007 in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Brian Leatherman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
