Helen Ruth Daily

Helen Ruth Daily, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 1, 2014. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Weatherford, Texas with Dr. David George officiating. Interment will be in the Annetta Cemetery.
Helen was born April 8, 1942 in Benjamin, Texas to Roy and Annie Bell Rucker. She was a longtime resident of Weatherford and member of First Baptist Church.  Helen retired from the City of Azle, Texas where she served as City Secretary. She was an avid quilter and also a member of the Quilters Guild of Weatherford, Texas.
She leaves behind her husband, Kenneth Daily of Weatherford; daughter, April Vanaman husband, Grant of Cedar Park, TX., step-daughter, Cindy Ann Knacksteut of New Ulm, TX; sons, Ronald Glen Harris of Springtown, TX and Command Sergeant Major Rodney Harris and wife Christina of Virginia; seven grandchildren; sisters, Judy Rucker of Fort Worth, TX and Ellen Dashney of Portland, Or; brother, Roy Gail Rucker and wife, Louise of Springtown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church of Weatherford.
 
Services are under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Weatherford, Texas.
Interment:  Annetta Cemetery.
