Herman V. Stroud, age 81. of the Dennis Community, died suddenly of heart failure, Thursday evening, December 12, 2013 at his residence. Born November 21, 1932 in Tin Top, a resident of Parker County all his life, Herman was a graduate of Weatherford High School. He worked at Bell Helicopter as a final inspection supervisor for 29 years. He left Bell to start Spring Creek Embryo Farms with his son Dr. Brad Stroud. Herman has been in the ranching business for the last 30 years, a member of the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse for 25 years, member of the Black Angus Cattle Association and American Quarter Horse Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Susie and Lewis Stroud, a brother, James and Mother and Father in Law, Ruby and Lawrence Feagin.

Funeral service will be held at Spring Creek Baptist
Church on Highway 51 South at 2 PM, Sunday, December 15, 2013. Interment
will be in the Spring Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the funeral Home.
