H.J. Norman

H.J. Norman, 89, of Weatherford, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017. Funeral service: 10 a.m, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Michael Edwards officiating. Visitation: 6-8 p.m, Thursday and Friday, July 27th and 28th at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
H.J. was born December 3, 1927 in Wichita Falls, Texas to William and Myrtle Crawford Norman. He owned Norman Jewelry and was a former Weatherford Police Officer and Chief. H.J. was a devoted member of Long Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed collecting firearms and antique motorcycles.
He survived by his daughters, Pam Russell and Jerry Russell of Watauga, Linda Felts and husband Buddy of Weatherford; son, Jimmy Norman and wife Paula of Gun Barrel City; grandchildren, Norma and Michael Crutcher, Jimmy Norman, Cody and Jamie Norman and Jacki Bankston; great grandchildren, Kaylei and Colt Hickey, Taylor Crutcher, Julia Norman and Avery Lambert; one great great grandson, Peyton Hickey.
