Horace W Standlee

Horace W. Standlee, 82, of Weatherford passed away, Monday, February 8, 2016. Horace was born June 29, 1933 in Dora, Texas to Horace and Hazel Standlee. He was a faithful member of Bethel United Methodist Church and caretaker of Bethel Cemetery. Horace was a graduate of Texas Tech University in 1955 with a civil engineering degree. He spent his entire career with the Army Corp of Engineers.  Horace was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Standlee. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sue Standlee of Weatherford; sons, Richard and Robert Standlee both of Fort Worth; step children, Kim Kelley of Weatherford, Laura Jackson of Superior, Montana, Jamie Cook of Arlington, John Kelley and wife Dei of Weatherford, Matthew Wilson and wife Vivian of Los Angeles, CA and Luke Wilson and wife Marisa of San Francisco, CA; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Memorial service: 11:00 AM, Friday February 12, 2016 at Bethel United Methodist Church.
