Hubert Wayne Fears

Hubert Wayne Fears, 78, formerly of Marshall, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 in Weatherford.
Funeral service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Hubert Wayne Fears was born Aug. 30, 1939, in Marshall, son of the late Arthur Hubert and Mary Ethel Fyffe Fears. He married Ramona and together they reared two children, Carol and David. After 22 years of honorable service and being stationed in Germany, Korea, and Thailand, he retired as Master Sergeant from the Air Force. He would later have his hand in many different ventures including air traffic controller, truck driver, motor company and storage building owner, and owner of Southern Made Donuts.
Hubert was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Fears; his son, David Cory Fears; and his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol Flowers and husband, Ken, of Ennis; granddaughter, Cathryn Colcer and husband, Daniel, of Dallas; great-grandson, Tristan Colcer; brothers, Donald Fears and Gerry Fears; and a host of loving family and friends.
