Hugh Hartwell Watson

Hugh Hartwell Watson, age 74, of Weatherford passed away on June 14, 2020 at a Fort Worth hospital. Hugh was born in Mineral Wells, Texas to James and Goldie Watson on June 10, 1946. He was raised in Mineral Wells and the Midland Odessa area. Hugh was a mechanic and loved working on cars. He enjoyed reading hot rod magazines, watching NASCAR, listening to music, and could be found sitting in his recliner watching old western movies. Hugh was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and cherished the time he spent with his family.

Hugh is survived by his loving wife, Beverly of Weatherford, daughters, Mary Roden (Troy) of Weatherford, Ashley Wilson of Springtown, Tammy Turner (Victor) of Weatherford, and Carrie Morgan of Fort Worth, sons, Howard Watson (Tonya) and Daniel Watson (Samantha) both of Weatherford, brothers, Jimmy Watson (Johnnie) of Weatherford and Jackie Watson (Jo) of Alvarado, 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and his dog Sunshine “Hound Puppy”. Hugh will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
