Ina Ruth Granger, age 76, of Weatherford, died Wednesday afternoon, December 28, 2011 in the local hospital. Born November 15, 1935 in Weatherford, where she had lived all her life. She was a homemaker and member of the First United Pentecostal Church Ruth was a former President of the Kangaroo Booster Club, former Brownie Leader, former Manager for Jack’s Café, former owner of Bill’s Restaurant and Manager of Granger Truck Stop. She was preceded in death by her son, William Harlon Moore.
Survivors include her daughters, Scarlett Dalton of Hudson Oaks and Teresa Moore of Weatherford; son, James V. Granger and wife, Tina of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brothers, Homer Beauchamp of Weatherford and Joe Beauchamp of Weatherford; six grandchildren, Dewayne, Delena, Reagan, Victoria, Lauren, Kylie and six great grandchildren, Chandler, Parker, Annabelle, Stevee, Charlsey, Fate.
Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 31, 2011 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Friday, December 30, 2011 at the funeral home.
