Ishmael Worth Queen, Jr.

Ishmael Worth (Ish) Queen, Jr., age 65 of Poolville, died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in Fort Worth.  Born August 27, 1948 in Lamesa, Texas, a resident of Parker County for several years.  He was an Army Veteran, loving husband, father and pa and he loved woodworking, his dogs, outdoors and his grandkids.  Mr. Queen was preceded in death by his parents, Ishmael, Sr. and Juanita Queen, sisters, Nelda Thomas and Virginia Queen.

Wife of 16 years - Gertrude Thompson Queen of Poolville

Daughter - Nita Smith Withers and husband, Richie of Weatherford

Sons - Ishmael Worth Queen III of Fort Worth
          Chris Thompson of Poolville
          Jeff Thompson and wife, Janetta of Poolville

Nine Grandchildren - David, Amanda, James, Cayde, Caleb, Devin, MaKenzie, Brayden and Payton


Visitation 6-8 pm, Sunday December 22, 2013 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Graveside Service Monday, December 23, 2013.  Zion Hill Cemetery at 2 pm.
