Jack "Ace" Clifford Matthews, Jr.

  Jack "Ace" Clifford Matthews, Jr., 71, passed from this life on Monday, December 18, 2023. Ace was born January 24, 1952, to the late Jack Matthews and Edith (Runyon) Matthews.

  He was a Fireman for Weatherford Fire Department for 25 years. Ace enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an inspiration to many people during his lifetime, always willing to lend a helping hand and never turned away anyone in need.

  Ace is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Lanette Palmer of Weatherford, Texas; stepchildren, Larry Gilbert and wife, Haley, Randa Gilbert, Ryan Gilbert, and David Wayne Palmer and wife, Morgan; grandchildren, Maddie, Chance, Cooper, and Elijah.
