James Bobby Walls

James Bobbie Walls, 84, of Weatherford passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 at his residence. Graveside service: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Dilbeck Cemetery with Rev. Mike Wiley officiating. Memorials may be made to The Center of Hope. James was born June 5, 1931 in New Boston, Texas to Ed and Dorris Strickland. He was a Sargent with Fort Worth Police Department for 30 years and a Detective with Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office for 10 years. James was a dedicated member of Adell Community Fellowship and an active member of Campers for Christ. He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Reba Walls. Survivors include: wife, Beverly Joyce Walls of Weatherford; children, James Robert Walls and wife Trobie of Weatherford, Rhonda Walls Linden of Fort Worth; brother, Donald Walls and wife Wanda of Longview; granddaughters, Carrie, Rachael, Breanna and Rebecca; seven great grandchildren; step children, Keicia Breadner, Holly Pridgen and Freddie Delamain.
