James Bobby Walls

  James Bobbie Walls, 84, of Weatherford, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016, at his residence. Graveside service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at Dilbeck Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Wiley officiating. Memorials may be made to The Center of Hope. 

  James was born June 5, 1931, in New Boston, Texas, to Ed and Dorris Strickland. He was a Sargent with Fort Worth Police Department for 30 years and a Detective with Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office for 10 years. James was a dedicated member of Adell Community Fellowship and an active member of Campers for Christ. 

  He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Reba Walls. 

  Survivors include: wife, Beverly Joyce Walls of Weatherford; children, James Robert Walls and wife, Trobie of Weatherford, and Rhonda Walls Linden of Fort Worth; brother, Donald Walls and wife, Wanda of Longview; granddaughters, Carrie, Rachael, Breanna, and Rebecca; seven great grandchildren; and step children, Keicia Breadner, Holly Pridgen, and Freddie Delamain.

  Graveside service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at Dilbeck Cemetery.
