James Donald Warren

James Donald “Don” Warren, 80, of Weatherford went to be with the Lord, January 1, 2014.  Don was born August 3, 1933 in Van, Texas to the late Raymond and Elsie Warren.
Don was a husband, father, and grandfather.  In 1997 he married Clera Huett.  He was always by her side helping her and loving her.  He loved his family and church family.
Don worked for a paint contracting company for 25 years as a bookkeeper.  He also worked 10 years at Freeburg and Associates before his retirement.
Don was a man of God.  He was an active member of North Main Church of God.   He assisted the church with his skills as a bookkeeper for 8 years.
Survivors include his wife, Clera; daughters, Donna Atenico and husband Lowe of Tyler, Texas and Pam Warren of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son, Brian Warren of Little Elm and step-son, Ron Huett and wife, Debbie of Weatherford and three grandchildren.
 

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday at North Main Church of God with Rev. Forest Bass officiating.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.   A private burial will take place in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.
