James Douglas Lamb

James Douglas Lamb, age 75, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at Weatherford Regional Medical Center. James was born November 13, 1939 in Galveston, TX to James Lamb and Alice Hale Lamb. Mr. Lamb graduated from Temple High School was a Banker working in the Finance Industry and later started ventures on his own.  His employment included First National Bank Weatherford, HCC Finance, a Singer Dealership and a Discount Gas Franchise. He loved Gospel Music serving as a Church Pianist from age 13 until retiring at age 70.
 James is survived by his Wife, Rosalind Lamb of Weatherford, TX, Sons, Doug Lamb Jr. wife Leslie, Brad Lamb of Weatherford, TX, Kevin Lamb and wife Susan, of Waxahachie, and Kris Lamb, of Seagoville, Grandchildren John Keith and wife Melanie, Kris Gordon Jr., Sheana and husband Kenny, Kayla, Samantha, Kodi, Isaiah Luke, Great Grandchildren, Kenny Jr., Logan, Brothers Wayne Lamb and wife Kandy of Irving, Rick Lamb of Weatherford
 

 

Visitation will be held at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 11, 2014
