James Elton Tinkle

James “Jimmy” Elton Tinkle, the most wonderful husband, father and Papa left this world to work for our Lord on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Jimmy was born November 28, 1949 in Chicago Illinois to Billy Bob and Mary Jane McCotter Tinkle who preceded him in death. Jimmy met his wife of forty years and graduated from the Masonic Home and School of Texas in 1968. He worked for GSA, Lone Star Gas and TXU. Jimmy was fortunate, after going on disability, to fish and hunt with his son James and follow NASCAR with his son Jeff. He loved spoiling his grandchildren Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann; two sons, James Tinkle and wife Mindy and their children Jacob, Victoria, Lance, Luke and Lane and Jeff Tinkle and wife Sherry and her girls, Ashton and Tandy and his daughter, Josie Bryant; sisters, Mary Lou Howard and Judy Elliot; brother, William Robert Tinkle and favorite nieces and nephews, Miguel Howard, Jessica Jane Howard, Lance and Bobby Tinkle, Devon and Morgan Tinkle, Candice and Sean Hammitt and Courtney Elliott. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday April 18, 2009 at Bethesda United Methodist Church.
