James Henry Kimsey

James H. Kimsey, age 96, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 in Weatherford, Texas.  He was a longtime resident of Weatherford.  James was born on February 28, 1916 to Henry and Fannie Womack Kimsey.   James served in the Army during World War II.  He worked as a line a-type machine operator for Mineral Wells Index for 35 years and retired from WISD in the maintenance department.
     He was preceded in death by his wife, Oneta Kimsey in 1995; parents, Henry and Fannie Kimsey; sister, Lucille Nelson; brothers, Fred Kimsey and Mabrey Kimsey.
     Survivors: sons, Larry Kimsey and wife, Sharon of Weatherford and Tim Kimsey and wife, Rebecca of Weatherford; daughter, Dell Rochelle of Flatwoods, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 10 AM at East Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Walker officiating.  Visitation will be from 6-8 on Monday, August 13, at the funeral home.   Services are under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
