James L. Worden

  James L. Worden, 64, of Weatherford, died Tuesday morning February 5, 2008, at his residence. James was born September 22, 1943, in Weatherford, Texas. He was a retired general manager for a railroad transportation company, and a member of Hilltop Baptist Church where he served as music minister. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh; he was noted for always wearing a smile. 

Survivors: Wife; Elizabeth Merle Worden; daughter, Tamara Worden of Tampa, Florida; sons, David Worden and wife, Gena of Weatherford, and Tim Worden and wife, Georgia of Weatherford; grandchildren, J.D. Worden, Sam Worden, Bailey Worden, and Isabel Worden. 

Funeral service 2:00 p.m., Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Memory Gardens. 

Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
